1. Hagia Sophia
Hagia Sophia is one of the most popular tourist places in the city, as well as one of the top instagrammable places in Istanbul. Hagia Sophia is a former church and museum and declared as one of the world’s greatest architectural works and accepted as the 8th wonder of the world.
You can snap variety of great Instagram photos from both at the exterior and interior. 2. Blue Mosque

4. Galata Tower
One of the most popular places in Istanbul with all travelers’ Instagram accounts. The tower itself, its rooftop and the narrow pretty street around is 100% Instagram worthy. Galata Tower is an old Genoese tower overlooking the beautiful Istanbul and has a luxurious restaurant at the top.

The Suleymaniye Mosque is one of the most spectacular mosques in Istanbul. It was built for the honor of the magnificent Kanuni Sultan Suleiman by the famous architect Sinan between the years 1550-1557.
The decoration of the mosque is outstanding with colored tiles, stained glass windows and antique columns. And it dominates the ancient city skyline and standing on the highest hill on the region.
8. Karakoy/ Umbrella Street
Probably the most lovely street in Karakoy is the famous Umbrella Street or Şemsiyeli Sokak -as Turkish people call it- where everyone is taking pictures. Its original name is Hoca Tahsin Street but people call it the Umbrella Street because of the famous colorful umbrellas hanging from an upper net making it look like a lovely colorful street from one of Disney movies.
